Welcome
Child, Adolescent & Young Adult Psychology
Hello and welcome!
I’m a child and family psychologist who believes every young person deserves a safe, compassionate space to navigate the ups and downs of growing up. With a trauma-informed lens, I look at each child’s unique neurotype to better understand how they experience the world.

My approach is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help families clarify their shared and individual values, build willingness to navigate meaningful challenges, and develop a deeper sense of understanding. Whether it’s responding to anxiety and overwhelming worries, exploring identity and neurotype, or the everyday stress of being (or raising) a child. My approach blends evidence-based strategies with a warm and holistic style.
I adapt therapy to the way children naturally learn and engage—often through creative and visual-based strategies. This allows young people to express themselves comfortably, explore their emotions, and develop effective coping skills. You might see me break out a whiteboard, a box of markers, or maybe even a prop to spark conversation. Above all, I’ll meet you where you’re at with empathy, curiousity, and a willingness to tackle tough stuff together.
A core principle in my work is recognising that all behaviours carry meaningful insights into a child and young person's inner world. Rather than judging these behaviours on the surface, I see them as signals of underlying needs and response to manage stressors. By helping young people understand and respond to these needs in helpful ways, they can develop a greater sense of control, self-awareness, and connection to the people and environments around them.
